Traces of Arts Education in Dialogue: Visual Reports

The dossier Traces of Arts Education in Dialogue: Visual Reports of Conferences, Panels, and Conversation Rounds brings together a compilation of the visual reports created during the 2nd Congress Territories of Arts Education in Dialogue, organized by the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in 2024.

The project was coordinated by Marcela Rapallo and consisted of a collective visual reporting experience, in which a group of participants used drawing to record the conferences, panels, and conversation rounds held throughout the event.

The publication is part of the book of abstracts from the conversation rounds of the 2nd Congress, where nearly 200 research projects, artistic-pedagogical projects, and experiences related to arts education were presented.

The dossier gives visibility to visual reporting as a practice of recording, listening, and interpretation, capable of accompanying processes of academic and pedagogical exchange through a sensitive, visual, and collective dimension.

From this perspective, drawing appears as a tool for synthesis and dialogic thinking, one that not only documents what takes place during an encounter, but also connects ideas, voices, and experiences.
