Performances and Workshops About Water at COP 16

As part of COP 16 (United Nations Conference on Biodiversity in Cali, Colombia, within the program of Banco de la República), the collective drawing workshops Dibujar el agua were presented. These workshops were restructured through a dialogue between Colombia and Argentina, leading to the creation of a video mapping piece with scenic drawing in collaboration with the Cali-based artist collective Proyecto Monos. The video mapping also included an interactive segment inviting audience participation.

The Dibujar el agua workshop is part of Uma, an artistic, technological, and educational project about water. Uma celebrates water as essence, mystery, and the origin of life, while also serving as a warning and a call to awareness: we share the same paths, and Uma’s fate will be our fate.
