The collective drawing workshop is an experience open to all ages and all levels of experience with drawing. It opens the practice of drawing, generally understood as individual, towards collective creation, drawing from the dialogue with other people's drawings. In the workshop we draw as musicians do when playing: forming a band where all voices participate in the composition. Exercises and large-format collective works are carried out. The workshop includes in some cases exploring these dynamics through digital technologies, making a large collective drawing animated live.
The workshop is based on more than twenty years of experience developing methodologies for collective drawing. It proposes to inhabit drawing as a space of encounter and celebration.
The workshop can be held in different spaces, with groups of different ages, and also in an intergenerational format. It was presented in projects such as Expedición Clave (Centro Cultural Recoleta, 2022), in Acumar, working with the communities of the Riachuelo Basin (2015-2022), in the CAJ socio-educational program of the National Ministry of Education (2011/2015), in the Jornadas Universidad en los Barrios of the UNA, (Museo de la Cárcova, 2014), in La Feria del Libro Infantil y Juvenil (2014), in Estampida de la Fundación Augusto y León Ferrari (Tecnópolis, 2014-2016), among others.
